Gala Dinner in Art Nouveau Style

September 19, 2014

A leading professional services firm decided to hold their its annual conference event in Bratislava in September. We were there to help ensure it was a success! The highlight was a gala dinner at a local Art Nouveau hall. The venue was constructed in 1911/12 for the 5th Korpskommando of the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Army. Viennese architect Josef Rittner designed the hall as typical function venue with Art Nouveau period decorations. After recent painstaking restoration, the hall is one of the architectural pearls of Bratislava. The inner courtyard has been covered by a glass roof, and thereby transformed into a tasteful atrium. We inserted a bar lounge with modern furniture and lights in the space, with the hall providing a classically elegant setting for the seated dinner.
