Conference for a Major Tire Producer in Bratislava
A major tire producer chose one of Bratislava’s five-star hotels as the venue for its conference event in September. An excursion to the company’s production plant was an integral part of the program, but all other arrangements were chosen by the client upon the recommendation of Enjoy Slovakia DMC. First of all, we provided a warm welcome, in sunny weather, at Vienna Airport, which served as an assembly point for delegates flying in from all corners of Germany. It took only a short time to reach Bratislava by coach, which came as a real surprise to the delegates. They quickly realized how easily accessible the Slovak capital is, nestled in a dreiländereck – a meeting place of three countries, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, whose borders have changed so many times in just the last century.
A welcome reception served on a terrace overlooking the Old Town, a relaxed walk around the Old Town with our excellent German-speaking guides, and an informal seated dinner at a popular Bratislava restaurant guaranteed the success of the event. A short glimpse of nearby Vienna, reached via the Twin City Liner riverboat, followed by a walk in the Altstadt (…with schnitzel and beer!), made for a pleasant detour before the delegates’ home-bound flights.
